to help listeners start off the day
appropriately and usher in the week just
the right way. The tunes are played by
 talented local Keyboard players. 


THANKS & PRAISES: 5.30 am

A lively presentation of praises and worship songs specially designed to spiritually uplift the audience Sunday Morning mood.


LET’S WORSHIP 8.05 – 8.45am

A full church service on Radio that features Christian
denominations that are duly registered members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

JISIE IKE: 11.05AM 

A request programme that borders on visit to Hospitals to find
out how the sick are faring.

GOSPEL MENU : 12.05 – 1PM

A social interactive phone in programme segmented as follows:  Testimony Time, Own Voice  Praise, and Bible Quiz respectively.

CONCERT HALF HOUR: 1.30 – 2.00 PM

A programme of classical music – instrumental and vocal for the delight of music enthusiasts.  Adds finesse to the mood of the day.

SUNDAY RENDEZVOUS: 2.05 – 3.00 PM 

A lavish 50 minute Rendezvous for you to reach your well wishers with message and music that will cheer them up.

GOLDEN HYMNS: 5.05 -5.30 pm -

 A presentation of time honoured hymns composed by inspired men of God and song in Christian churches.


SUNDAY NIGHT LINKS : 10.30PM – MIDNIGHT

A chit-chat programme that centres on all that happened during the church service, the theme or topic of the sermon, how the caller intends living with it, and how he intends carrying over to

MONDAY

SYNOPSIS FOR MONDAY PROGRAMMES



DAY BREAK CRUISE 5.20am – 8.45am
A multi segmented early morning programme
that accommodates a variety of issues –
music, personality interview, social life of the
high and low level class etc. a mixed bag to spice
up the week.

EXECUTIVE DIARY:   7.45 – 8.00am
(Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays)
This is a fifteen minute programme that comes
up three times a week in English and twice a
week in Igbo, with repeats, aimed at sensitizing
the public on government programmes and
activities.

KAM KWUO:10.05 – 11.00am:- A phone in
programme in Igbo in which a selected topic is
floated and the listening audience is required to
phone in to contribute their views on the topic.
A knowledgeable guest is usually in attendance.

GROOVE TRAIN:12.05 – 1 P.M. A disc Jockey Live music Presentation programme that features local/foreign hip hops.


BRAIN TEASER:   2.05-3.00pm - Phone-in Current Affairs, Quiz programme accommodating both local and foreign issues.



SCHOOL’S QUIZ:3.30 – 4.00pm
A programme that features different schools in an academic contest. It is one avenue of fulfilling our charge of informing, educating and entertaining, especially the youths.


YOUR HEALTH: 5.05 P.M.: 
A produced programme that dwells on health related issues.

NEWS CONFERENCE  6:30 - 7.00pm
This is a 30 minute Radio Programme designed to discuss/highlight topical socio-economic and Political Issues and other Public interest issues as well as explain government’s programmes, policies and action plans.

NTI NARA RIE 8.30 – 9.00p.m. The programme is a light entertainment, culture based programme, featuring folk-tales, moonlight plays and stories. It is often blended with real life events on moonlight setting. It also educates and informs in the nuances of Igbo folklore.

TUESDAY

SYNOPSIS FOR TUESDAY PROGRAMME

Unu Abọọla Chi – 5.20 – 6am

Igbo Morning wake up chit-chat show-dual

Presentation.



OYORIMA  8.05 – 9.00am Broadcasters by their different functions, stimulate the conscience of society. Oyorima – a social critic programme through the seeing eyes of Onyokomita spots out un-becoming aspects of society for correction while commending the complementary ones. Indeed it acts as the mirror of the society.



SPORTS CHALLENGE 9.30 – 10AM
A thirty minutes Sports programme, in which an issue is raised concerning players, teams of two clubs (eg) Chelsea/Manchester, Enyimba/Heartland FC, with a presenter moderating. 



HEART TO HEART: 10.05 P.M - 10.05 A.MA request programme that embodies good wishes to friends, relations etc. from the sender. It incorporates lovely chit chats and songs.



K’ANYI NORIA: 10.30-11.00 AM: This is a phone in programme where letters are read out, while listeners call to proffer solutions to people’s problems, raised in the letters.



MEN’S ROUND TABLE: 5.05 -5.30PM – Deals with men’s issues, with a phone in interactive segment.


YOUTH PANORAMA:6.30 – 7.00pm  

A magazine programme aimed at sensitizing
the youths on topics, issues, assessing their views and proffering solutions to youth oriented problems and situations.

NNORI UMUAKA: 7.30-8.00pm
An Igbo programme for the under twelve’s who supply answers to questions asked by fellow children within the same age bracket.

OGE NTULE: 8.30 – 9.00pm 
This is a chit chat programme, aimed  at finding out how people relax after the day’s job.
JAZZ SPLASH (Musicals)11.05-11.50 pm 
A presented programme where information reflecting the history of philosophers and great men are given.

ISSUES OF THE MOMENT: 6.30 – 7.00pm
This is a discussion programme designed to
examine current issues in the society. It deals with
burning issues on education, politics, health, sports,
environment, economics, business etc. Discussants
include the academia, career civil servants from
the private and public sectors who examine issues
and proffer solutions where applicable.

ASSEMBLY IN ACTION:7.45 – 8.00am. This is another quarter – hour programme that highlights the proceedings at the Abia State House of Assembly. The programme is aimed at enlightening the electorate on the activities of their elected representatives and the newly enacted laws and by-laws. It has an Igbo version tagged N’ulo Nzuko.

.INYOM EZUO :  9.30pm – 10.00pm. 
 A programme that looks into family life, the kind of food to cook and general ways to make everybody in the family happy. Also show cases fashion, child upbringing methods and the kind of company family members should keep.



NAIJA BEATS (SOUL TO SOUL) 11.05 – 11.55 A musical programme dominated by Nigerian beats. Text messages only read out at intervals.


COLLEGE DEBATE : 3.30 – 4PM –

An educational programme that pits two (2) Secondary Schools against each other in an intellectual exercise based on topical issues.

audience spiced with jokes and tit-bits, it is the
Igbo replica of 88 at dawn.

NAIJA SALUTE:12.05 - 1PM – A chit chat Igbo/Pidgin
English presentation that dwells on social issues.

LET’S SHARE: 1.30-pm- 2pm.                            
A phone in programme in which letters
are read out and solutions proffered to
some nagging issues sent in by the
audience.  The audience also phone
in to proffer solutions to the issues raised.
THE KITCHEN; 3.30PM -4PM
Menu, kitchen education, etiquette manners
 dos and don’ts, how to prepare different types of meal


 WEDDING BELLS: 5.05 – 6.00pm
It is a commercial programme presented live meant for people who are celebrating their traditional and white wedding ceremonies and wedding anniversaries.

JUNIOR WORLD: 6.30pm- 7.00pm: This is a Children magazine programme targeted to children in the age bracket of 1-15 years that feature short stories, plays, music, crafts, jokes, recitations, including their choice of clothes, food and reasons for their choice. Other items may be discussions, debates etc.

CLOSING RANKS:  11.05 – MIDNIGHT - A phone-in programme where participants call in to talk about or confess of any offence they may have committed against someone.  The programme offers them the opportunity to apologize to such person on air.

English Morning wake up show (dual presentation).



COMMUNITY NEWS: 11.00 - 11.15 AM:-

A fifteen minutes programme, which features News

events from rural areas of the state, with emphasis

on human interest and development stories.



CHOOSE AND ROCK 12.05AM-1.00P.M. A one

hour programme that is audience participatory. The listeners call in and choose from a line up 
songs numbered 1-20 or 30, which is played on their request after interacting with the DJ on duty. A lively entertainment programme apt for the weekend broadcasting day.


SPORTS EXTRA: 3.30pm – 400pm:-

A discussion programme that X-Ray sporting activities based on the Nigerian local league 
and international sports in general aimed at promoting Igbo language and culture.

FAMILY FOCUS:  4.30PM – 5PM 
A magazine programme designed to offer opportunity to the discussants express opinions on contemporary
issues affecting the family.

UNA WELL DONE 05 – 6PM:

This is a 30 minutes exaltation time. It will
feature mainly Christian music interspersed
with spiritual admonition and exaltations based
on Biblical injunctions and anchored by an
ordained person. It is produced.
UNIQUE BIRTHDAY PARTY 4.00pm
This is a commercial programme
designed for both children/adults
born on each month of the year.
It normally comes up every last
Sunday of the month to enable
all those born in the beginning, middle and last date
of the month to participate. It brings together families, relations and friends etc to celebrate their
birthday in a grand style. It is the venue of
fulfilling our charge of entertaining,
educating and informing especially both
children and adults. The production is to
be aired every 2nd Sunday of the
month and repeated the 3rd Sunday
of the same month.
          DIVINE TRUTH 8 - 9pm - This is a discussion         programme featuring a       panel/Team of experts/        professionals handling a chosen topic. The focus
is on Ethical, Philosophical, Religious, Moral and
          related issues, suggesting germane approach to
matters for a better society.   
AUDIENCE: The programme is targeted at all
seekers of UNDILUTED TRUTH and other mature
minds.

MONDAY

SYNOPSIS FOR MONDAY PROGRAMMES
 SPORTS ARENA:- 10.30 a.m.  Sports Arena is a one hour Sports Programme that x-rays sporting activities around the world.  It comes up every Monday from 10.30 to 11.30 a.m. with sports analysis, contrast, comparisms and news of the issues involved.

 JUNIOR MAIL BAG:- 4.00 P.M. As the name implies, it seeks to proffer solution to the immediate problems of the young ones between the ages 6 and
12. Letters are usually by post and such are read out
and treated by participating children.  It is aimed at widening the child’s mental horizon and it is quite inspiring.

YOUTH- SCOPE –5.05pm – 5.30pm
The name speaks for itself. Everything and anything within the scope of the youths: love, marriage, career etc. is the focus of the programme segmented with musical, comedy etc. It addresses the performances
of the young and the young at heart.

THE CLASSROOM: 5.30p.m. – 6.00,
The Classroom is an educational broadcast programme on Television
featuring teaching and learning of secondary school suspecta
as approved in the current curriculum. It seeks to expose our youths to proper
learning ethics. It is conducted in government approved public/private
secondary schools.
DO SOMETHING: 8.00 – 8.30pm - This is a serial drama production of the UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN EMERGENCY FUND (UNICEF), an exchange programme with the B.C.A.  Th Television serial chooses topics on Women and Children related issues for the sole purpose of educating both adult and children alike, on proper hygiene and other good health practices, which bring about healthy living in any modern society.

KIDDIES RENDEZVOUS 4.30pm – 5pm   A pot-purri of kiddies activities.  A kid presenter anchors, calling on colleagues to play, sing or read poems, recitation etc. It is kiddies magazine delight.
MEN’S ROUND TABLE: 6 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. Men’s Round Table is a Television Magazine Programme exclusively designed for men. It is segmented to feature discussions bordering on matters concerning men. It also focuses on lifestyles of men, musicals, words of wisdom among others. It is produced and present

FOCAL POINT LIVE 8.00pm – 9pm.  
It is a phone-in audience participatory/ interactive programme. Focus is always on happenings that affect the society and theirsolutions are suggested.

An educational programme designed to create a forum where Secondary School Student
express themselves contributing their opinions 
on some issues that bother on social life style. It is either in form  of a quiz or a debate. The children are taken through the rudiments of public speech making, socialization and collective interaction
THE FARMER: 5.30 – 6.00pm. A thirty minutes programme focusing on different farmers. Farmers
 on crops, animal husbandry, fisheries etc. It also
x-rays the activities of the State government on agriculture, eg: World food day, agricultural
exhibitions etc.
WOMEN’S WORLD 6pm – 6.30pm:  The whole programme idea is centered on women.  It would aim at embracing the totality of the women.  The programme will also expose women’s world and help to find out what makes her tick, her likes and dislikes, the challenges she faces as a lady, wife and mother.  It will also take a look at her roles and responsibility to her family, community and society at large.
OHA NA EZE 8.30pm 
This programme talks about individuals’ cultural rights as embedded in our society. It aims at educating the viewer on their cultural, traditional and topical issues.
The programme is being moderated by the producer with a panel of three or four
participants. It is purely a discussion programme.

An hour sports programme which captures all the actions in the Sporting World. Attention is given to grassroot sports. It grants provision for audience participation depending on the issues/actions in focus.

NYSC TODAY 4.30 pm – 5pm
This Programme is designed to highlight the activities of Corps members in the State. It is segmented, as it has discussion, drama, tit-bits and personality profile. Their Community development projects are displayed here to encourage other Corps members to work hard.

LET’S TALK 5.30pm - 6pm This is magazine talk show with musical embellishment to entertain the audience. The programme is aimed at sharing ideas on different topics that affect life in the society, with special emphasis on the youths. It will feature a live audience some of whose members are expected to ask questions or make contributions/observations on the topic handled. A moderator anchors the programme to ensure there is a smooth transition between the segments.

LEADERSHIP FORUM 6.00pm – 7.00pm
This programme show-cases personalities in leadership positions in order to elicit their views,
on a wide range of issues eg:-

1.    To shed light on the activities of
their establishments.
2.    To highlight their achievements so far.
3.    To inform the people of proposed policies
and programmes and their benefits to the masses.
4.    To highlight problems and areas of need and
5.    To address critical issues which bother
the masses

INYOM 8.00pm - 8.30pm 
This is an interactive discussion programme that features
women, focusing on the world of women,
exploring achievements, problems and
challenges of womenfolk. This is with a
view to encouraging them towards more active
role in our socio-political settings especially
now that women are expected to participate fully
in politics and governance. The language is Igbo

BCA TV SPORTS:-(MAGAZINE) 4.00 pm – 6pm. 
It deals with sports of all kinds; local, national and international, with experts and professionals, discussing sports issues of the moment.

MAJOR NEWS:  7.00 P.M.
This is a (Grade A) broadcasting of the corporation that highlights government’s activities, programmes and policies as well as serves as a feedback to the government. It also encompasses the general events in the society, current mood and happenings. It serves as a scanning/surveillance of the environment, societal mirror, and cultural transmission agenda setting and general review of contemporary issues.


PRINT MEDIA: 7.20 P.M
It is a review of major stories and editorials from National Dailies. It is analytical and interpretative in nature, as well as carries human angle stories, including sports.


THE PROFESSIONALS  8.00-8.30 P. M.
It is meant for professionals like Doctors, Lawyers, Journalists, Engineers, Architects, etc. The programme gives participants the opportunity to propagate the ideology of their trades. It is also designed to provide guidance and counseling for our youths on their choice of career. Note:- It has potentials for sponsorship.


ZION TRAIN: 8.30 -  9.00pm. 
It is a 30 Minutes Magazine Programme, packaged and sponsored by United Zion
Movement - an NGO, designed to project activities aimed at enhancing the mindset
of people towards positive development in our society.  As a Train, the programme
is segmented into Educational, Social and Religious coaches from activities gathered
from Urban/Rural Communities.  It is piloted by an anchorman, addressed as the captain
of the train.  Presentation is usually in English Language. Targeted audience is Youth/Adult.
